JOB VACANCY: WEBSITE MANAGER

Islamic University in Uganda seeks a professional Website Manager for the University's website.
The suitable candidate should be a dynamic, ambitious, passionate, and self-driven with multimedia skills ready to produce and manage the University's Website, YouTube, Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, and Instagram. 
The Website Manager role is a full-time position based at the Main Campus in Mbale, and it has an attractive salary and benefit package as per the IUIU status.
The Website Manager shall work under the Office of Public Relations with the following responsibilities:
• Manage and update the website regularly
• Produce multi-media content
• Covering University events
• Conduct research about the industry 
• Create and publish engaging content
• Edit, proofread and improve written posts
• Liaise with other content writers to ensure brand consistency
• Optimize content according to SEO
• Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
• Update and manage engagement on the University's core social media accounts
• Developing and managing an influencer program to build SEO and increase traffic
Qualification and Required Skills:
• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities and Sciences with experience in:
• Website design and development
• HTML and web publishing
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• MS office and word press skills
• Familiarity with social media
• Excellent writing skills
• Video and photo editing skills
• Multi-media production skills
• Graphic design skills
• Have international and or corporate experience as Website Manager especially in big institutions of higher learning.
