Visit to The Islamic Solidarity Fund

The Executive Director of the Islic Solidarity Fund (ISF), HE Ibrahim Al Khuzaym yesterday, Monday 10th October 2022, received the Rector of IUIU Prof. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda at his office in Jeddah.
On behalf of IUIU Management, staff, students, and all IUIU stakeholders, the Rector thanked ISF, for being the most prolific benefactor of IUIU over the pat 35 years. ISF has supported IUIU with over 22.14 million dollars since 1988.
Prof. Gyagenda also thanked ISF for this year's support in form of scholarships for needy international students
HE Mr. Al Khuzaym thanked the Rector for visiting ISF and congratulated him on becoming the new head of the flagship OIC University. He informed him, that as Rector, he is also a member of ISF's Board of Directors.
He assured the Rector that ISF will continue to support IUIU through specific projects.
He said to the scholarship money will be annual and will henceforth include needy Ugandan Muslim students as well.
