IUIU To Host A Studio For The NOBEL V FEST Lecture Series

The Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) will on 2nd November 2022, host a studio for the Nobel V Fest Lecture Series, at Kampala Campus. This is on the request by COMSTECH, an Educational Partner in the Nobel V Fest. This year’s Fest is themed, “Evolution of Technologies”, and is taking place in the period 26th – 28th October 2022. The Fest is followed by the Nobel Fest Lecture Series from 1st to 4th November 2022, featuring Nobel Laureates and several outstanding global scholars of various academic fields from all over the world. Annually, the Nobel Fest attracts over 500,000 participants from over 155 countries, featuring over 500 Universities.

The studio will feature a brief introduction of IUIU by the Rector, Professor (Dr.) Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda, and a presentation by Dr Umar Yahya, the Head of IUIU’s Motion Analysis Research Laboratory (MARL), followed by an interactive question and answer session. The event will also be broadcast via different virtual platforms, including Zoom, YouTube, and other social media. The event is coordinated by Mr Dragule Swaib, the designated IUIU – COMSTECH coordinator.
