Official Visit to Cevic School of the Blind

The Islamic University in Uganda in partnership with Izmir Bergama Art Center - Republic of Turkiye yesterday 04th May 2023 visited the CEViC School for the Blind at Buwama Masaka Road. Donated Teaching Materials to the Visually impaired Students were handed over. 

Teacher Teddy of CEViC School welcomed the members and deeply extended their appreciation for the donations.  The IUIU team was headed by Dr. Amina Hassan the Dean Faculty of Education at IUIU accompanied by Mr Saim Celik Lecturer and Coordinator of Centre for Capacity Development, Mr Mutyaba Abdallah, Senior Administrative Assistant office of the Rector and Mr Mwima Abdallah ICT/media personnel. 

The team was also accompanied by Ms Begum Hafswa a long-time friend and advocate of the CEViC School of the Blind.  CEViC School provides educational services to blind children and currently accommodates over 50 Students.
