IUIU Moot Court Team Advances to Quarterfinals in Human Rights Competition

The moot court team from the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) has advanced to the quarterfinals in the 33rd Human Rights Moot Court Competition held in Kigali, Rwanda.

The event, which began on Tuesday, July 22, 2024, featured participation from 65 African universities.
Dr. Abdullateef Wale Adeyemo, the Dean of the Faculty of Law at IUIU, praised the students for their resilience and depth of knowledge, which have propelled them to this stage. Notably, IUIU remains the only Ugandan university still in the competition.
