Shaluwa Namutosi to Graduate with First-Class Honors in Computer Science at IUIU

Ms. Shaluwa Namutosi will graduate with a first-class degree in Computer Science from the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) Main Campus during the upcoming graduation ceremony happening on 14 December 2024

Namutosi attributes her academic success to hard work, perseverance, and her unwavering trust in Allah. Despite facing significant challenges, including difficulties in raising tuition fees, she remained focused on her studies.

“Getting here wasn’t easy,” Namutosi shared. “I had to overcome a lot, but I believed in hard work, perseverance, and constant prayer. Allah made a way for me.”

Namutosi plans to pursue a master’s degree specializing in Cybersecurity, aiming to contribute to the rapidly growing field of digital safety and data protection.

She also encouraged continuing students to Trust Allah, work hard, and never give up. ''Challenges are part of the journey, but with faith and effort, success is achievable.”
