IUIU Rector Pays Courtesy Visit to the Uganda Embassy in Ankara

Prof. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda, Rector of Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Amb. Nusura Tiperu at the Ugandan Embassy in Ankara, On June 24, 2025.

During the visit, the Rector expressed gratitude for the embassy's ongoing support to the university, particularly appreciating the Ambassador's advocacy efforts as a government representative and Chairperson of the Estates Planning and Development Committee.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of Ugandan universities establishing collaborations with Turkish universities, highlighting Türkiye's advanced science, technology, and innovation. She invited all Ugandan universities to work with the embassy to explore these opportunities.
