Reminder to Clear For Graduation

The Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) is delighted to announce that two undergraduate students from the Faculty of Education, Nsagire Swabrah and Uthman Ssebalu, have departed for a one-year student exchange programme at Erciyes University in Kayseri, Türkiye.
The exchange programme is being implemented under a bilateral cooperation agreement between Erciyes University and IUIU, and is fully funded by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) of the Republic of Türkiye. The initiative aims to strengthen academic collaboration, enhance cross-cultural learning, and provide students with valuable international academic exposure.

Speaking during the send-off, the Deputy Academic Registrar, Mr. Sumare, the Deputy Director of Kampala Campus, Dr. Kasozi, the Faculty Coordinator, Mrs. Sharifa, and the Coordinator of the Centre for Capacity Development (CCD), Mr. Saim Çelik, congratulated the students upon their selection and encouraged them to represent IUIU with excellence and discipline. They emphasised that such exchange programmes are vital in preparing globally minded graduates and fostering stronger institutional partnerships.
The Centre for Capacity Development (CCD) coordinated the exchange process in collaboration with the Faculty of Education and the International Office of Erciyes University.
This initiative reaffirms IUIU’s commitment to promoting internationalisation, academic excellence, and meaningful global engagement.
