THE GREAT ALUMNI
On 19th November, 2017, a group of members of IUIU Alumni sat at Kampala Campus, (Board room) to deliberate on IUIU’s forthcoming 30th Anniversary. This was as a result of the University’s initiative to create Alumni Committee that has been mandated to mobilize all IUIU Alumni to take part in the Anniversary celebrations due on 10th February 2018. During the University General Organizing Committee for the IUIU 30th Anniversary, Dr. Mwebesa Umar, the Deputy Academic Registrar (also 3rd Pioneer Guild President) was asked to head this Alumni Committee.
The following are Terms of Reference
- We shall identify different cohorts of Alumni across Academic years and Campuses.
- We shall publish Alumni Database on IUIU Website; names, profile, contacts etc.
- We shall identify Categories of Successful Alumni including but not limited to; a) Categories; Politicians, Armed forces, Civil servants, Diplomats, Educationists, Entrepreneurs, Academics, etc
- We shall create Alumni Newsletter.
