IUIU Alumni Excel at Law Development Centre Graduation

The Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) is celebrating the exceptional performance of its law graduates in the 2024 Law Development Centre (LDC) examinations. IUIU alumni secured top positions, with Nandita Ritah achieving the highest distinction and claiming the title of overall best student. Nakyetiba Victoria followed closely in third place, and Kagola Shadia ranked sixth. Nalubowa Sumayya and Lubega Derrick also achieved impressive results, placing 11th and 12th respectively.

This outstanding performance reinforces IUIU’s position of providing quality legal education and producing highly competent graduates. Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Adeyemo Wale Lateef, expressed his pride in the students' achievements, attributing their success to the dedication of the faculty, the support of the university management, and the leadership of Rector, Associate Professor Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda. He also acknowledged the hard work and commitment of the entire IUIU community. Over 95% of IUIU students admitted to the LDC for the 2023/2024 academic year successfully passed the final examinations. This remarkable achievement reflects the faculty's dedication to equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the legal profession.
