Forging a Holistic Path: Key Findings from the 6th IIUC Conference on IUIU’s Medical Curriculum

During the 51st Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers 21-22 June 2025 in Istanbul, Turkiye, Prof. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda, Rector of Islamic University in Uganda, held a bilateral meeting with Hon. Gen. Jeje Odongo Abubakher, Uganda's Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Amb. Hon. Nusura Tiperu, Uganda's Ambassador to Türkiye and member of the University's Governing Council, Mr. Mutyaba Abdallah, Senior Administrative Assistant, Office of the Rector, Mr. James Wafula, Ms. Catherine Ndagire, and Mr. Koobe Arthur from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Uganda.
The Rector expressed gratitude for the government's continued support, highlighting recent developments, including the newly constructed Faculty of Engineering and Technology, set for an official launch soon. The Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting the university and emphasized the importance of promoting its achievements and contributions to the nation and beyond.
