IUIU signs MoU with VERMIPRO

The Rector of IUIU, yesterday 27th March, signed an MoU with VERMIPRO, an Agribusiness Company specializing in organic fertilizers and other Agribusiness activities.

The Rector was accompanied by the Dean Faculty of Agribusiness and Natural Resources Sciences Prof. Muhammadnur Taha, the University Secretary Counsel Hamza Sewankambo and Mr Abdallah Mutyaba from the Rector's Office.

The CEO of VERMIPRO, Dr Magdi Osman welcomed them and after the signing ceremony, the two teams discussed a way forward on joint ventures in seedling Research and production, and value addition in the fruit and vegetable market both locally and Internationally.

Dr Magdi will be travelling to Mbale soon to work with IUIU on an action plan for the joint ventures.
