Salam Youth Symposium 2024 Held at Islamic University In Uganda Females Campus Kabojja

Salam TV a Muslim channel under Next Media Group organised a Salam Youth symposium on 30th August 2024 at Islamic University in Uganda females` campus Kabojja under the theme empowering tomorrow through nurturing leadership and innovation in our youth. The panel had many influential men and women in different fields of life. Amongst them was Dr. Jamil Serwanga Vice Rector Academics at IUIU who emphasised that youth should cultivate a creative mindset, perceiving every aspect of the surroundings as a chance to innovate and make a positive impact, and Dr. Ahmed Jamil Walugembe Senior Lecturer at IUIU who emphasised that young people have the power to transform and revolutionize every aspect of the world, driving positive change and innovations.

Poor menstrual management can lead to various health issues including hormonal imbalances, infertility, and other complications said hajjat Zaitun Kakyama to the youth.  Since this year`s theme was also on innovation and we are in a digital world Mr. Desire Derekford Mugumisa echoed to the youth that the key to success in today`s digital age is not just about utilizing phone opportunities, but about embracing your individuality and finding ways to express yourself and showcase uniqueness authentically.

The Salam Youth Symposium partnered with organisations such as Islamic University In Uganda, IMSAK, Secret Pads, and Sums Snacks, ensuring this program is a success and benefits the youth all over Uganda.
