Promoting International Collaboration under Erasmus Programme: Delegation from Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University Visits IUIU

Under the Erasmus Programme, a delegation of four people from a partner university, Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University (TOGU), visited IUIU KC.
The delegation consists of the following:
- Prof. Dr. Yusuf Temür, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences
- Prof. Dr. Ercan Çaçan, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics
- Prof. Dr. Tuba Karabey, Faculty of Health Sciences
- Dr Hilal Özbek, Department of Nursing and Midwifery
The delegation was received by Rector Prof Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda and the number of staff at the Kampala Campus.
After the introduction of members present.
The following matters were discussed:
- The scholarships in postgraduate studies are offered by TOGU.
- Joint Grants Proposals
- Palliative Care House
- Establishing Erasmus Office at IUIU
After the discussions on the abovementioned matters, the exchange of gifts took place, and a group photo was taken.
This activity was followed by meetings between established committees of TOGU and IUIU for in-depth discussions. This was followed by a lecture with students of medicine delivered by Prof Ercan. On the other hand,
Dr Hilal conducted the lecture with students of Nursing and Midwifery at the Female Campus.
