Assoc. Prof. Matovu Highlights Successful PhD Dissertation Defense at IUIU

The Faculty of Education at the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) achieved a historic milestone as its first PhD candidate, Mr. Kamonges Wahab Asad, successfully defended his dissertation on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024, at the IUIU Main Campus.
Assoc. Prof. Matovu Musa, Director of the Directorate of Graduate Studies, emphasized IUIUs commitment to academic excellence during the event. He noted that this achievement highlights the institution's dedication to advancing higher education and research, while celebrating yet another successful PhD thesis defence.
Dr. Kamonges Wahab Asad presented his dissertation titled "Parenting Styles, Personality, and Quality of Life Among Students in Public Secondary Schools, Eastern Uganda." His groundbreaking research sheds light on the impact of parenting styles and personality on the overall well-being of students in the region.
Dr. Kamonges advised fellow students, encouraging them to devote ample time to their studies, engage in extensive reading, maintain a clear vision of their research topics, and remain focused on their goals in order to achieve success.
