Islamic University In Uganda Females' Campus Kabojja LLB4 Students Carry Out Internal Campus General Cleaning

On September 6, 2024, fourth-year law students (LLB 4) demonstrated their commitment to environmental stewardship by organizing a comprehensive campus cleanup initiative.  The event, aptly themed "Keeping Our Environment Clean," was spearheaded by the Law Faculty Deputy Dean, Ms. Nuru Mohammed, in collaboration with the Guild President, H.E Habiba Amin, and the Law Society President, H.E Namuleme Angella.

The initiative underscored the importance of a clean and healthy environment as a fundamental right for all. To ensure efficiency and coverage, the students were divided into four groups, each assigned a specific zone and a designated leader.

The university administration provided essential support by supplying the students with protective gear, including gloves, and an ample number of brooms. This ensured the safety and effectiveness of the cleanup effort.

This initiative not only resulted in a cleaner and healthier campus environment but also served as a valuable lesson in social responsibility for the aspiring legal professionals. By actively engaging in community service, the students gained firsthand experience in contributing to the well-being of their surroundings, reinforcing the vital role lawyers play in promoting civic engagement and environmental consciousness.
