Exchanging gifts with Distinguished visitors from DIYANET, the Directorate of Relgious Affairs, Federal Republic of Turkia.

The Rector, Prof. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda, Rector IUIU welcomed the guests at his office, Kampala Campus. He recalled with fond memories of his visit to Turkia in October last year, where he and the Academic Registrar Dr. Halima Wakabi Akbar visited Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University as well as Diyanet Headquarters in Ankara.

The Rector and the Visitors discussed establishing meaningful relationships between the two Institutions, including student scholarships, staff and student exchange programs, and joint community projects. 

The visitors invited the Rector to visit Diyanet after Ramadhan and he agreed.
