AIM 

The aims of this training workshop is to build the research capacity of academic staff with practical skills on the appropriate application of statistical methods in data analysis using computing packages – SPSS, EPIDATA, EPIINFO and STATA.

THEME OF THE WORKSHOP

 ""Research Capacity Building for Academic Staff on Statistical Analysis Using Computing Packages – SPSS, EPIDATA, EPIINFO and STATA".

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of this training/workshop, among others are to:

(i) Train academic staff on the basic concepts of data and data management plus its importance in today’s knowledge and digital driven society as related to research paradigm.

(ii) Enable academic staff understand the appropriate statistical methods / tools in data analysis.

(iii) Equip academic staff with competencies in applying computing packages in data management and analysis
