The Rector of IUIU is joining other invited Rectors, VCs, Educators, Scientists, and Government leaders in Rabat, Kingdomof Morocco for ICESCO's First International MODEL SATELLITE (CANSAT) TRAINING WORKSHOP & AEROSPACE SYMPOSIUM under the theme: "Building Tomorrow's Global Workforce".
The event is composed of 3 days of training at ICESCO HQs in Rabat and a 2-day training, launch, and closing in Oukaimeden-Marakkesh at Cadi Ayyad University Observatory.
Dr. Salim Al Malik, DG of ICESCO welcomed and thanked the international guests. He pointed to the need for ICESCO member countries to be part of the "space eco-system" that is developing so fast.
Among the Kingdom of Morocco government representatives at the Workshop and Symposium are: HE. Abdellatif Miraoui, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research & Innovation; and HE Ms. Aawatif Hayer, Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration & Family
