Collaboration with Virtual University, Pakistan

Today, September 7th 2022 at 10:00 am EAT (12 noon Pakistan Time) a Zoom meeting coordinated by Prof. Dr. Iqbal Choudhary of COMSTECH was held between Virtual University (VU) of Pakistan and IUIU to foster collaboration on mutually beneficial educational issues.
The Rector of VU, Dr. Arshad Saleem Bhatti and IUIU Rector Prof. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda plus other VU and IUIU academic and administrative staff discussed different areas of potential collaboration, especially VU's leadership in online delivery of University and non degree courses.
Dr. Bhatti presented a brief on VU, including a video profile of the University and IUIU presented it's 9 minute video profile.
The way forward was agreed upon, including an exchange of visits by both leaders. Among the immediate areas of collaboration are content development, staff skill enhancement, and enhancing skills on a variety of short non degree course that are targeting poor youth.
