Rector Inspects The construction Site Of The New Faculty Of Engineering And Technology at IUIU

The Rector of the Islamic University in Uganda Professor Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda, visited the construction site of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology On the 26th of July 2024, located at the main Campus in Mbale.

The project Manager of VCON, Festus, provided a comprehensive briefing to the Rector regarding the status of the project, highlighting the achievements thus far and outlining the remaining tasks before the anticipated project completion deadline in December 2024.

Despite encountering intermittent challenges due to inclement weather, Festus expressed confidence in the team's ability to expedite the project, setting an ambitious target of completing the work by September 2024.

The Rector inspected the progress of the ongoing construction work and extended commendations to the construction team for their diligent efforts.

He encouraged them to sustain their commitment to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project.
