IUIU 27TH GRADUATION CEREMONY SET FOR 9TH NOVEMBER 2019 AT MAIN CAMPUS

The Islamic University in Uganda's 27th graduation ceremony is scheduled for November 9th 2019 at the main campus in Mbale.

According to the University academic registrar (AR), Dr Halima Wakabi Akbar, potential graduands must have been cleared academically and financially by October 10.

“This implies clearing tuition, passing all papers and paying the graduation fee of shs 313, 000 (for undergraduates) and shs 375, 000 (postgraduates),” she said.

Dr Halima also noted that Postgraduate students must have submitted the error-free bound thesis by this date to be included in the graduation list.

“Students who completed their studies in the previous years but were unable to graduate for different reasons shall also be allowed to graduate upon satisfying the conditions herein stated.” Dr Halima noted.

She cautioned that students who will submit clearance forms beyond the deadline risk to miss out from the final graduation list.

The registrar further revealed that graduands will start picking their graduation gowns by 24th October from any of the University campuses: Main campus-Mbale, Females’ campus-Kabojja, Kampala campus-Kibuli, Arua campus-Arua or at King Fahad Plaza liaison office on Kampala Road after presenting their clearance slips.
