IUIU Females' Campus Celebrates Faculty of Health Sciences' Victory in Quran Competition

The Faculty of Health Sciences at IUIU Females' Campus emerged triumphant in the Inter-Faculty Quran Competition of 2023, claiming the coveted trophy.

The prestigious competition, which revolved around the theme "Calling Muslims back to their love for the religion," was hosted at IUIU Females' Campus in Kabojja on May 14, 2023, within the welcoming confines of the campus cafeteria.

A total of five faculties from the institution took part in this year's spirited competition, reflecting the diversity and unity of the campus community. The participants included the Faculty of Management Studies, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Education, and the Faculty of Law.

In a heartwarming inclusion, students from the tailoring school were also welcomed to partake in the competition, enhancing the event's inclusivity and the broader message of spiritual reconnection.

Sheikh Badirudin Kasule, the esteemed Imam of IUIU Females Campus in Kabojja, shed light on the competition's purpose. He emphasized, "The aim of the competition was to ensure that students enhance their knowledge of the Quran, recognizing their remarkable progress in terms of JUZ’S."

As the results were unveiled, the Faculty of Health Sciences emerged as the champions, earning a well-deserved trophy. The first runners-up were from the Faculty of Management Studies, and they were rewarded with a gold medal. Meanwhile, the second runners-up, hailing from the Faculty of Education, also clinched a gold medal. The Faculty of Law secured the third runners-up position and were awarded a silver medal, while the tailoring school participants earned a commendable bronze medal.

This year's competition marked the sixth edition of the Inter-Faculty Quran Competition, a testament to the commitment of the Dawaah Committee at IUIU Females' Campus in Kabojja to promote spiritual growth and unity among its students.

The victory of the Faculty of Health Sciences not only underscores their dedication to the Quranic knowledge but also serves as an inspirational symbol of unity and shared faith among the diverse faculties of the institution.
