IUIU Secures Training Opportunity in Virology and Vaccine Technologies at COMSTECH

In an exciting development for the field of virology and vaccine technologies, Dr. Lubowa Muniiru, a researcher and lecturer at Habib medical school IUIU attended the COMSTECH Fellowships for Research and Advanced Training in Virology and Vaccine Technologies program.

The training took place at Bio Farma, Indonesia, from August 29th to October 4th, 2023. Bio Farma, a key player in the field, is recognized for its cutting-edge research and development in vaccines. The OIC Centre of Excellence status further solidifies the institution's commitment to fostering excellence in the region.

Dr. Lubowa Muniiru is one of the 10 participants from 10 of the OIC member States who benefited from the world-class facilities and mentorship at Bio Farma, gaining invaluable insights into the latest advancements and methodologies in virology.
