IUIU  Hosts the President of the Giader Entrepreneurial Business Assoc.

ity in Uganda has hosted H.E., the President of the Giader Entrepreneurial Businessmen Association & Agriculture from the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Fikret Yildirim, to discuss future collaboration in the development of the University. 

The delegation first visited the Kampala Campus on Monday the 12th and later traveled to the Main Campus in Mbale to meet members of the University Management. 

Mr. Fikret, who expressed his readiness to work with the University, also promised that after they agree with the Rector on what to do at IUIU, he would link Turkey and the sister companies to the University in the nearest future.

“We see a lot of potential in IUIU because it has the human and land resource which could be used for development.”  Mr. Fikret explained.

The Rector and Management welcomed the delegation and pledged that the University Management is working hard to ensure that it attracts people and organizations to partner with IUIU in development initiatives, especially agribusiness.

“Uganda is not only a beautiful country but also the best for Agrobusiness,” Prof. Gyagenda assured them. The Rector informed Management that the University believes in Mr. Fikret because it’s not the first time they have worked with him.

“I am hopeful the visit will yield positive results and benefit the University and the entire community in different IUIU locations.”  He concluded.
