Thousands of students at the Islamic university in Uganda (IUIU) Main campus have today Tuesday 23rd April 2019 started writing the end of semester two examinations.

The three weeks long exercise that will close the 2018- 2019 Academic Year is expected to end on 14th May with Nursing student writing last.

Meanwhile, the Islamic University in Uganda Dean of students Dr. Sulait Daud Kabali while addressing a Da’awa Liaison and Community Outreach meeting at the IUIU Females Campus Kabojja recently urged lecturers to continue guiding the students even during the examination period.

As Administrators and Lecturers, our role does not only end in the classrooms we need to guide these students even during this examination period so that they can finish the process successfully. He advised.

Dr. Kabali stated that most cases of examination malpractice is due to failure by examination masters and lecturers to continuously remind student on the dos and donts.

He however encouraged students to always take the responsibility and properly check themselves before going to the examination room.

As a student before you leave your hall of resident or home, make sure you double check your pockets for any piece of paper or item that is prohibited in the exam room so that you are not disqualified or charged with examination multi practice. he stated.

According to the University rules and regulation, anyone caught with un authorized material(s) and sharing information in the examination room among others is liable to disqualification or any form of penalty as stipulated in the University examination rules and regulations .

The Dean heartened the finalists to do their best so that they can pass and successfully graduate by the end of this year and coveted all other students success in the examination.
